(3) Organizing training workshops on music, dance, tabla, drama and nurture for the development of the talents of the students.
(4) Organizing Ekushey competition, painting competition, music competition and historic 7th March speech competition.
(5) To organize film exhibitions, short length documentary film exhibitions, documentary exhibitions on the liberation war and Bangabandhu's biography at different times and acrobatic exhibitions.
(6) To manage District Shilpakala Academy Film Society, Minor Ethnic Cell, Folklore Cell, Music, Dance and Repertory Drama Group and Library.
(7) To update the list (art directory) of artists and cultural organizations of the district.
(8) Conducting activities related to the provision of grants to the Ministry of Culture for indigent artists in the district.
(9) Awarding District Shilpakala Academy honors in various branches of culture.
