At a Glance

Zilla Shilpakala Academy, Kushtia has been working as the holder and carrier of the culture of the district since in 1974. There are a total of 10 (ten) instructors for training in Vocal Music, Dance, Rhythm, Drama and Fine arts in a four-year course. There was an old auditorium and an office and training building in the industrial area on an area of ​​1.01406 acres. Now a state-of-the-art building is being constructed there. Currently the activities are being conducted in the temporary office. Various national and international days are celebrated in the arts. Cultural events and training workshops were organized with various cultural organizations in the district. Travel, drama and folk cultural festivals, acrobatic and film exhibitions and cultural competitions are organized. Also, every year, Zilla Shilpakala Academy Awards are given to 5 categories in different categories. The activities of the Shilpakala Academy were successfully conducted under the overall support and supervision of the elected Executive Board.
